Welcome to Girls on the Run of Montgomery County, PA - a life-changing, non-profit prevention program for girls in the 3rd through 8th grade. Our mission is "to educate and prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living."

Girls on the Run combines training for a 5K (3.1 miles) running race with healthy living education. Our programs instill self-esteem and strong values through health education, life skills development, mentoring relationships, and physical training - all of which are accomplished through an active collaboration with girls and their parents, schools, volunteers, staff, and the community. 

Girls on the Run of Montgomery County, PA is an Affiliate Council of Girls on the Run International, which has a network of over 160 locations across the United States and Canada.

Spring 2009 Program Information

GOTR of Montgomery County, PA Spring 2009 program registration will open on January 5, 2009 at 9:00AM and closes January 16, 2009.  The easiest way to register is click here.

The 2009 season will start the week of February 23rd and will end with a Girls on the Run 5K run and banquet. Registration is on a first come first serve basis. Space is limited to 28 girls.

Team Tiara is the charity running leg of Girls on the Run. We are a team of athletes who pursue individual goals, such as running a marathon, to raise money for local GOTR chapters and our important after school running programs for young girls.
